Manuka Honey for your Pup's Health
Have you heard of Manuka Honey? I kept hearing and seeing those words earlier this year... Manuka Honey, Manuka Honey, Manuka Honey... What? Is someone trying to tell me something? I first heard of Manuka Honey through Hope Black, animal communicator and reiki master (another fab story for a different time!) - how it has medicinal properties for humans and animals, both topically and orally (the Manuka tree grows in New Zealand and Australia). So I bought some Manuka Honey from Whole Foods, and soon after, I noticed that my pup, Kai had a big 'pimple-looking' growth on his chest. He's prone to getting skin tags, but this looked like a pimple and it was mambo big (just under the size of a dime). I put just a tad of the Manuka Honey on his acne - and guess what - only TWO fricken days later, the growth was gone!!!! I'm serious! Then, a few months later, Kai had a couple of skin tags on his leg and a big one high in the crease of his leg/shoulder. I was concerned about the skin tags on his leg because they grew big very fast, so I took him to the vet - she gave me something to put on them and a week or so later there were big craters where the tags were and they started healing up. For the skin tag high on his shoulder/leg crease, I thought I would try Manuka Honey. That tag quickly got very large also, so when I put the honey on, I wasn't sure if it would work. One week later, the tag turned purple... a week after that, it was just 'gone' - no crater, no issues, no skin tag - just GONE! I do believe that there are tons of 'natural remedies' out there for us and our pets - and I'm super grateful that the universe kept telling me about Manuka Honey this year, it worked like a charm for my pup Kai and I absolutely LOOOOVE it when I can find something natural!!! I also love sharing these natural remedies with you - and whether it's my own healthcare or my pets, I always try to go for the natural cure if possible : - ) Good luck and be sure to share your Manuka Honey Story if you have one!
Thank You Nature!
